A Brief Showcase of Work

Photography Inspirations and Passions

I have a designer's eye. I have developed a photographer's eye. I have a passion for the art of storytelling with photography. These are just some of the things you will notice in my work. Photography is not my craft by trade, but a hobby I love. Could this hobby develope into a future career? Absolutely! I have put myself out there more and only good things can come my way if I keep doing what I love, and for the people who enjoy it.

While attending Finger Lakes Community College in Upstate New York, I found a passion for studio photography and portrait work. I had a knack for getting the lighting correct 9 out 10 times for portraits. I have not done studio photography in some time, but wouldn't mind taking a swing at it again someday. If I had the space and the proper lighting equipment, and (someday) a new camera, I would consider it. I love the interaction and the end result. Shooting portraits outside a studio is also very enlightening, as long as the backdrops are fun, exciting and PERFECT.

I went to school for 5 years and obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Visual Arts. My area of interest and main study focus was Graphic Design and Advertising Technology. I have a full time career (going on 6 years now, WOW time flies), as a graphic and website designer for a marketing company in Las Vegas, NV. As much as I like the graphic design part of my job, I would like to do something I am more passionate about in the future.

Due to some circumstances and life changing events, in 2010 I moved from Las Vegas back home to New York State. It was during that time I began to find myself again and made this website soon thereafter. In June of 2013, I moved back to Las Vegas. It was time. Once I moved, things opened up for me purely by accident or maybe coincidence.

I started going to Caesar's Palace every weekend with my friends and attending the show of a stunning performer, Matt Goss. I brought my camera with me to the show one night in August and captured one very stunning photograph that would change my life and perspective on my talent. I had the opportunity to show this photograph to the subject that was Matt Goss. He wanted me to tweet it, so he could get me some exposure and said I was very talented and gave me some advice that will stick with me forever. Never would I have thought my photos were worth anything to anyone, but I kept at it. I kept getting better photos, not just of Matt himself, but of his band, his dancers, his backup vocalists, everything! The one to the right of this biography of my photography is a recent photo from March 22, 2014 that has gotten a lot of hype. I have two people to thank for this, one would be Matt Goss, for his inspiration, his advice, and for the spark he ignited in my hidden talent of Live Photography. "Very Talented", "Up there with the Best", "Great Live Photographer", "Such Talent"... and the list continues. I also need to thank myself, for finally believing these to be true statements. It is my drive to keep pursuing live photography. Who knows, maybe I will end up in a magazine someday.
